Some people have a special talent for standing out in a crowd. This posting is dedicated to you! This vision in blue and pink is marching with the AIDS Committee of Toronto. Toronto's drag queens have a long and heroic record of supporting our community institutions. For many years, Kiwi and his similarly costumed comrades were the ambassadors of Fruit Cocktail, an amateur fund-raising show for the Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal, now the Community One Foundation. Since 1980, the Community One Foundation (formerly the LGCA) has raised more than $2.5 million to fund over a thousand community-based projects. Once again, the Filipina drag queens of Toronto raise glamour to a whole new level with their dazzling dresses, jewelry, accessories and makeup.
